Is it possible to import trip statistics from a third-party application?

There are two ways to import activities from third‑party services.


1. Direct Connection


To see all available third‑party services:

  • Go to geovelo.app
  • Click your photo at the top right
  • Select My Profile
  • Under your photo click Connected Services
  • Proceed with the connection


On this page, you’ll find all available services, including beta versions. If the service you use isn’t listed, it’s not supported yet.

We recommend using GPX import for your activities. See our article: Import a .gpx file to add a ride to your statistics.



On the Geovelo app:
  • Go to the Profile tab
  • Tap the gear ⚙️ icon at the top right
  • Select Connected Services
  • Proceed with the connection

📌 We’d love to support all services our users request. However, some require more resources and take longer to integrate.



2. GPX Import of Rides



(From My Profile on the website only)

  • In the Statistics tab
  • Click the GPX button at the top right of your rides summary
  • Once the file is uploaded, click Import
  • Choose Import for your activities to add the ride to your statistics


To prevent possible fraud, we have rules for GPX import:

  • Your track must be under 300 km
  • It must last less than 12 hours
  • You must import it within 48 hours after the ride
  • Make sure a parallel ride doesn't already exist in your Geovelo history (if it does, delete it before importing)


If your GPX file isn’t accepted into the challenge, it probably doesn’t meet one of these three criteria…
