I'm having a problem with the automatic recording of my journeys

With an iOS smartphone:


We face technical limitations that do not allow us to provide as high-quality an experience as we would like. It is sometimes more functional on the latest iPhones. Our team is working on the issue, and new features will be proposed in early 2024.


With an Android smartphone:


Check that the automatic recording option is enabled:


  • Go to Profile
  • Choose Settings in the upper right corner of the page
  • Then Tracking and Navigation to check that the Route Recording option is enabled.


Ensure that all required permissions for the proper functioning of the application are activated:


  • Go to Profile
  • Choose Settings in the upper right corner of the page, then Tracking and Navigation
  • Then Required Permissions to check that all settings are active.


Facing "recording issues"?


  • Go to Profile
  • Choose Settings in the upper right corner of the page, then Tracking and Navigation
  • Click on Recording Issues? which will guide you to the setting to adjust on your phone.


Android Overlay Issues:


Some Android operating systems (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc.) have settings restricting your smartphone's features to save battery or limit memory usage. However, they impact the proper functioning of Geovelo.
