Activity detection is inaccurate or should not have started

On iOS:

We face technical limitations that prevent us from providing as high-quality an experience as we would like. It is sometimes more functional on the latest iPhones. Our team is working on the issue, and new features will be available by the end of 2024.

On Android:

Geovelo uses the data collected by your smartphone for its activity detection system. The accuracy of this data can depend on the age, quality, or brand of smartphones.

Some tips to optimize the use of this service

Make sure to check the settings as described here
Place the phone in your pants pocket: one of the sensors that activates detection is your phone's accelerometer.
Check in Profile > Settings > Tracking and Navigation that the Activity Stop Delay corresponds to your usage.

If the activity detection was triggered when you were not cycling, feel free to delete the trace from your profile.
