# What does B Corp certification mean for Geovelo?

The B Corp label means that a company has been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and demonstrates accountability and transparency by publicly sharing its performance score on its B Corp profile.


###### Maintaining the label and continuous improvement

By becoming certified, a B Corp company commits to a framework of continuous improvement. To maintain their B Corp status, companies must undergo the assessment and verification process every three years to prove that they continue to meet B Lab’s standards — which themselves are continuously evolving, thanks to ongoing input from expert stakeholders.
