# How do I report missing information on the map?

| You can create reports (such as bike parking spaces or new cycle paths) on the Geovelo website or application.
| Our team of cartographers will then check and update OpenStreetMap, the mapping database that we use and update (https://geotribu.fr/articles/2021/2021-11-26_traitements_data_osm_geovelo/).
 ### On the [web](https://www.geovelo.app):

* Click on the "Contribute" icon at the bottom right of the map.
* A **Contribute** page will appear
* Move the point to the location of the contribution
* Define the nature of the report, describe it and add a photo
* Validate your contribution by clicking on **Contribute**.

### On [the application](https://www.geovelo.app):

|| In order to help our cartographers keep OpenStreetMap up to date, we ask you to be as precise as possible when sending your contribution:

* For cycle parking facilities, pumps, etc.: a photo of the context (position of the feature in the street) and a precise description (car park with 6 hoops, repair point with tools and pump, etc.).

* For cycle facilities: the ideal is to make a contribution at the beginning and end of the facility, with contextual photos. You can also add photos at intersections, street crossings, or any other point you find interesting.
