# [Android] How to solve trip recording problems on Android?

| This article concerns you if you have one of the following issues:

* **Navigation or ride recording stops working if I lock or put my phone to sleep.**
* My GPS is inaccurate, and I have recording errors.

### Ensure that all required permissions for the proper functioning of the application are enabled:

* Go to **Profile**
* Choose **Settings** at the top right of the page
* Then **Required Permissions** to check that all settings are active.

| Android overlay issues:

Some Android operating systems (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc.) have settings that restrict certain features of your smartphone to save battery or limit memory usage. However, they can impact the proper functioning of Geovelo.
